Mahya Davachi

I am a graphic Designer, Visual Communication artist, UX designer and illustrator with more than twelve years of experience in design, branding, advertising , poster, catalogue and brochure design, packaging , social media and photography. Apart from I experience in creating illustrations and designing posters, billboards, logos, and catalogs for several magazines, companies, and events, I works have been featured and won awards at national and international festivals and exhibitions.

In 2017 I had the opportunity to come to the United States to pursue my MFA degree in Visual Communication Design. I am a motivated student who is taking active advantage of being part of a university community. My works have been selected by National Student Show in Dallas Texas and 2020 HINDSIGHT’ at the 6th annual Persian Art Exhibition, Irving Art Association in Texas. My works have been shown at USA, Turkey, Iran and exhibits and have received awards. I had some contribution Project in The University of Texas at Arlington such as Bell Project and Bee Project. Also, I had a Project called “Speak Up” which was public at the main gallery at University of Texas at Arlington. I also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Practice from the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at the University of Texas at Arlington.
